Legal technology seminar to highlight opportunities for Scottish firms

It has been said that the future is already here, it’s just not evenly distributed – and that can certainly be said of legal technology. An Edinburgh seminar on 9 November will highlight the opportunities for Scottish firms. Organised by Ampersand Advocates, leading experts and vendors from across the UK will speak about technology and software that solicitors can use to differentiate themselves and litigate more effectively. Then the seminar will hear experience-based tips from Advocates on how best to use technology in court.

You will hear examples of legal technology already in-use. The seminar will show how eDiscovery software is helping firms to identify relevant evidence from vast volumes of emails. We will see a new product reporting on Court of Session success rates by type of action and by firm, an expert system automating transactional legal processes, and a company bringing investment risk analysis to litigation.

The event, being held at the Faculty of Advocates Mackenzie Building, is free and comes with three hours of CPD. Register here.
