Ampersand welcolmes Scottish Feminist Judgments Project
Ampersand Advocates was delighted to welcome Dr Chloë Kennedy and Professor Sharon Cowan to Faculty of Advocates to discuss the Scottish Feminist Judgments Project, which re-imagines the processes and outcomes of judging in key cases from feminist perspectives.
They have produced an amazing collection of ‘missing’ feminist judgments, alongside commentaries by subject experts, with each of the cases also interpreted from an artistic perspective, in art, poetry, film or music.
One of the aims is sparking dialogue between academics and legal practitioners, so we hope that today’s event added to the ongoing conversation. Thanks Sharon and Chloe.
