SPLG Annual conference 2024

The Conference will include essential briefings on Scots public law cases, key public law cases from the rest of the UK; human rights issues; and discussion on critical topics for public law practitioners.
Essential legal update briefings will be offered by:
- Morag Ross KC, Axiom Advocates, on key Scots public law cases;
- Tom de la Mare KC, Blackstone Chambers, on key rUK public law case updates;
- Aidan O’Neill KC, Ampersand Advocates, on legislative competence; and
- Professor Katie Boyle, University of Strathclyde, on the development of human rights law in the UK.
Also have insightful and topical contributions, including a panel session on the convergence/divergence of EU law from public law in Scotland and rUK featuring Professor Colin Murray (University of Newcastle) and Lisa Whitten (Queen’s University Belfast).
