Ampersand Advocates Shortlisted for Multiple Honours at Legal 500 Scotland Awards 2024
Ampersand Advocates has received an impressive six shortlist nominations across five categories for The Legal 500’s Scotland Awards 2024.
The awards, taking place on 28th November in Edinburgh, will recognise top legal talent in Scotland across 51 categories. Ampersand Advocates features in Silk of the Year, Junior of the Year, Clerking Team of the Year, Clerk of the Year, and Stable of the Year.
Una Doherty KC is nominated for Silk of the Year for her outstanding work as a leading Advocate. Tim Young and Ayla Iridag are both up for Junior of the Year for their accomplishments as an Advocate. Alan Moffat is shortlisted for Clerk of the Year for his excellence in Clerking and Practice Management, as are the whole Clerking Team in a new category.
Finally, the collective team of Ampersand Advocates is nominated for Stable of the Year, demonstrating strength and achievements as a set. Ampersand will be hoping to repeat the success last year where Ampersand took the Stable of the year award, along with Silk of the Year Laura-Anne van der Westhuizen.

The Scotland Awards spotlight the country’s top lawyers, firms, and in-house teams as determined by The Legal 500’s independent research. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on 28th November in Edinburgh.
